TNAU will release the application forms for all the UG and Diploma courses for the upcoming academic session of 2026-27. TNAU Application 2026 will go on till a deadline of 8 June 2026 . Interested candidates can get the online application forms via the university’s official website www.tnau.ac.in.
TNAU offers various UG, PG Diploma and Doctoral programs, including BTech in Agricultural Engineering, BSc in Agriculture, MSc in Microbiology, PhD in Agronomy, Diploma in Horticulture, etc. The application fee for all the candidates of the general category will be INR 200, and the counselling fee is INR 3,000.
The university has set separate rules for all the students who have completed their prior education from Tamil Nadu and the others who haven’t. All those students of Tamil Nadu region will be granted admission directly through TNAU Online Counselling process, while others will need to qualify in the entrance exam conducted by ICAR.

- TNAU’s PG courses require the applicants to have a graduation degree in a relevant field along with a qualifying score of GPAT. The university also provides certain relaxation to the reserved categories in terms of aggregate scores and age limit.
- Diploma courses at this university only require a certification of completion of 10+2 from the applying students.

TNAU UG Admission 2026
TNAU admissions for its undergraduate courses will begin soon, and the last date for registration is 08 June 2025 for the 2026-27 academic session. A few of the UG courses that candidates can study at TNAU are BTech in Agricultural Information Technology, BSc in Agri Business Management, BSc in Forestry, etc.
Those who have completed their 12th class from any recognized board in Tamil Nadu will need to directly appear for the TNAU Counselling Session, whereas others will need to appear in the entrance test conducted by ICAR.

Some of the TNAU PG Courses are MTech Agricultural Engineering in Processing and Food Engineering, MSc in Fruit Science, MSc in Nematology, and others.
The admission process for the PG program at this university will be based on the entrance exam of GPAT 2025. The eligibility criteria for the master’s degree courses of TNAU require candidates to complete their graduation from a recognized university and score at least 50% in the same.
